Great Collections. https://www.greatcollections.com. In my opinion, one of the top two auction sites for certified coins. Great Collections conducts weekly auctions, each ending on Sunday, with a large selection of coins and top-rate in-house photography. If paying by check, only a 10% buyer’s fee.
David Lawrence Rare Coins (DLRC). https://davidlawrence.com. In my opinion, the second of the top two auction sites. DLRC conducts bi-weekly auctions of certified coins. Auctions tend to be thematic and weighted towards a particular denomination. One week, most of the lots were high-quality Lincoln Cents, which was perfect from my perspective. There is no buyer’s fee.
Stacks Bowers. https://stacksbowers.com. The legendary auction site and generally the place to check for those very unique and rare certified coins, many of which are beyond my means. Specific auctions are thematic and must be tracked independently to find those items that interest you. The 25% buyers fee can discourage many buyers.
Heritage Auctions. https://www.ha.com. An auction site of collectible items, including not only coins, but also art, comic books, jewelry, and video games. Specific auctions seem thematic and weighted towards a particular denomination. Fewer items are up for auction than on the above sites. The 25% buyers fee can discourage many buyers.
eBay. https://www.ebay.com. The wild, wild west of auction sites. The words “caveat emptor” were never so true. However, the website cannot be ignored, given the sheer volume of available coins. Coins are sold by individuals, not all of whom may be reputable. Some sellers’ photography is inadequate, and others use stock photos. Education, due diligence, and basic common sense are needed before saddling up.

Individual Sellers.
I maintain a list of sellers with whom I have transacted, whether the experience was Positive, Neutral, Mixed, or Negative. This designation impacts future purchase decisions with that seller.

The White List. For online sellers with whom I have a positive experience, I maintain a list here for those who are interested.
